Artists, producers & songwriters: u need more than great songs. You must be able to prove you can sell records and make MONEY to advance your career. Establish sales credibility so you can be put above the millions of artists battling or vying for industry and consumer attention

I repeat this is the music BUSINESS! There’s a P&L (Profit & Loss) statement that comes w/ the territory. ART & the creativity that comes with that is one thing but there’s another side of it u folks are not comprehending well. I say all of this to say pls come at me correct.
