A couple of postcards showing Perth from Barnhill. The first is dated 09.12.1903. We can assume the snow scene is around the same time. Whilst the landscape is very familiar some 116 years later, there are some changes, notably on the island allotments.

It is The North Inch this time, and a rare postcard of the bandstand! The bridge is never too far away though! We have access to a large collection of Perth postcards - if there is anything you'd like to see down memory lane, let us know and we'll try our best.

Here are a couple of very interesting Perth postcards with views of Smeatons Bridge from The North Inch, just up from The Royal George. Note the boating pontoon in the postcard from 1904 and the frozen River Tay from a postcard dated February 1895! Hope you enjoy them.
