We are overwhelmed with gratitude for an extraordinary year celebrating our 250th Anniversary. Each moment was made possible by your support. Whether you attended an event, shared our stories, supported our mission, or simply cheered us on. Thank you.
Happy New Year! 🎉✨
A father alerted by his daughter. A 90-year-old alone in a burning house. Gas canisters exploding. Joseph Butler smashed through the window, scaled a fence & carried the man to safety despite his own blood pressure condition. We're incredibly proud to award him the Bronze Medal.
At 15, Mya Gilman watched her father suffer a catastrophic arterial wound after a dog attack & saved his life.
She received the Society's President's Award for the most meritorious life-saving act by a young person under 18.
Very proud to award Zaid Anfoka the Silver Medal for his extraordinary bravery. We're also grateful to HE @ManarMDabbas for attending to our awards to honour him. Zaid's courage is an inspiration to us all & his story will be a true source of pride for the people of Jordan.

“Taxi round the corner?” Nigel joked at the start of @Great_Run We love your humour Nigel! But there was nothing easy about what Susan & he achieved for the Society. From overcoming setbacks & living with arthritis their resilience inspired us all and we are so proud of them!
Good luck Darren who is about to take on the 10k @Great_Run
A double Society award recipient, he continues to raise awareness of the trauma faced by both emergency services & members of the public involved in lifesaving incidents.

“It’s a lot. I’m alive because of what they did and to recognise what was happening to me. It affected them too, it’s such a responsibility to take on, especially when its someone you know. They really deserve this award.”
