📝The fourth presentation discusses white matter abnormalities in a Col4a1-mutant mouse model relevant to cerebral small vessel disease
📝Our final presentation is on using total-body PET imaging to understand bone metabolism on a systems level

📝The first presentation is looking at post-discharge mortality in children aged 5 and under after pneumonia and/or diarrhoea in lower- & middle-income countries #ReachingTheUnreachable#RMSConf23
📝The second presentation looks at cardiac complications after major abdominal surgery
📝The third presentation discusses the potential of tele-mentoring in teaching surgical skills to med students & professionals, and how this might benefit rural communities
⚕️The effects of multi-morbidity include increased mortality rate, increased use of primary & social care and decreases quality of life
⚕️All of these effects are exacerbated by socioeconomic deprivation
💭Another talk looked at outcomes for patients with alcohol-associated liver disease admitted to ICU
💉The talk identified a need for nuanced decision-making regarding treatment escalation for these patients, which should be in conjunction with the MDT, patients & their families
