@FeedbackOYSG@RoyalK_01 Peopleโs livelihoods are not collateral damage for private deals and political convenience.
This is not redevelopment. Itโs economic displacement, and the government owes the people answers โ not silence or spin. Again no alternative space was given.
@FeedbackOYSG@RoyalK_01 This clearly shows this was never about rebuilding for the people. If alternative spaces truly exist, where are they? Who has access? Why were original owners not prioritized? We demand transparency. We demand inclusion.
@FeedbackOYSG@RoyalK_01@seyimakinde Itโs hard not to suspect that this tragedy was convenient for those in power. Was it Intentional and a set up. Were the womenโs struggles and loans even considered? The silence is troubling. We demand answers. They lost all and you're demanding millions to get a space back?
@FeedbackOYSG@RoyalK_01@seyimakinde@FeedbackOYSG my motherโs shops was among about 500 destroyed in the Aleshinloye Market fire. She lost over 200m worth of goods. Now the land has reportedly been sold to developers without compensation or support..... (1/2)
