The discussion we need to be having is what public norms should be and what consequences are appropriate for violations of those norms, not whether the norms and consequences should be applied uniformly vs. selectively.
@Draco_o7 I think there's a certain amount of general grumpiness because this is the most unstable patch we've had in some time.
I also think that the funding news dragged back every shark-tank wannabe who thinks they are an expert manager based on shouting threats on the Internet
@Vaeroth@Draco_o7 They did just add some Gladiator bomb bay modules recently during Defensecon, which are pretty cool. The internal torpedo rack configuration also changed to a proper quad rack instead of the flimsy door mounts.
@Draco_o7 Tbh I always liked the 600i and thought it was one of the better "luxury" exploration/touring ships released. A medbed and a bit more storage would be nice additions for sure, though.
@CoachLaolagi@Sassafrass_84 When I was growing up in the 80s there was one kid named Frank in my class with a peanut allergy. He had to explain it to people all the time because most people had never heard of a food allergy.
@Zurakci Also, I wouldn't rule out the Vanguard. CIG never really got the BUKs working and they'll need modularity, plus the size was always divisive and with so many more heavy fighter options out they're beginning to show their age.
@Zurakci I hadn't heard about a Caterpillar overhaul in the cards but it would make sense. I'd personally love to see a rework of the pipe maze Retaliator, but that already got its gold pass so I think that's unlikely.
