Your use of (John 17) as evidence is actually the strongest proof against the divinity of Christ and the greatest evidence that our God is the One God to whom Jesus was supplicating. Why did you truncate the text and fail to complete verse 3 of the same chapter?
Jesus says with his own tongue: 'And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.'
If the Father is the only true God, then who is Christ? Our God is this (Father/God) whom Jesus described as the only true God.
So who is the other god now? The text says: 'He lifted up His eyes to heaven and said.' Does God pray to Himself? Does God ask for glorification from someone else? Also (John 20:17): 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.' What is your interpretation of this text? Does God ascend, pray, and supplicate to Himself?
