Head of Media (Volunteer) – Ringmer AFC

Ringmer AFC are looking for a volunteer Head of Media to continue grow the club both on and off the pitch.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in football media, journalism, marketing or communications — especially if you’re trying to break into the industry but don’t yet have the experience clubs usually ask for.

We’re a friendly, ambitious grassroots football club looking for someone creative, reliable and football-mad to take charge of the club’s media output.

The Role

The successful volunteer will help:

* Run and manage the club’s social media channels
* Write match reports
* Interview players and coaches
* Produce marketing content for the club
* Create a matchday programme for all First Team home games
* Take matchday photos for use across the club’s media platforms
* Manage club communications and media updates

Attendance at home and away matches would be preferred, but we understand real life comes first.

What We’re Looking For

* Good knowledge and understanding of football is essential
* A good understanding of all major social media platforms and how to use them effectively
* Strong communication skills
* Creativity and enthusiasm
* Someone reliable and organised
* Experience is welcome, but not required

Most importantly, we want someone who enjoys football and wants to be part of a good club with a relaxed and positive atmosphere.
