Hope to see you guys on the other side.
On March 1, 1992, the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina voted decisively for independence, marking a pivotal moment in the country’s history. This day serves as a reminder of my nation’s sovereignty, resilience, and the enduring pursuit of freedom and justice.
@YasminYonis Allah Razi Olsun, sis…all my love and duas to you and your beautiful babies too. InshAllah may this month fill you with peace, contentment and joy.
Against all odds. Against the genocide and the war. Against an aggressor dead set on our extermination. We remain here. Bosnia remains, nonetheless.
Happy Independence Day to my motherland.
Shortly after, war & genocide followed as a consequence of Bosnia’s decision to seek sovereignty & its international recognition. Against all odds, Bosnians defended their country—often in jeans and Converse, without proper funding or weapons. The resilience ensured our survival.
Ramadan Mubarak Olsun, my dear ones.
May this sacred month bring you clarity, peace, and resilience. May all your duas be answered, and may Allah forgive our shortcomings, guiding us toward justice, compassion, and love.
It really makes me giggle how every years comes and passes and with every Ramadan it is always the same from the non-Muslamics:
“The whole month? No eating and drinking for the whole month. Not even water for the whole month. How will you survive for the whole month.”
@judeinlondon They really placed Israel over every single other nation in the world, including their own citizens and played with global security all so Israel could get more ammo to kill more Palestinians. Sigh.
Trump and his admin have long exhibited a disregard for diplomacy, but openly attacking the sitting president of a sovereign nation—one actively defending itself—shows a troubling indifference to international norms and democratic alliances. It’s a horror show.
@_haye_ I disagree. America sponsoring Israeli crimes is nothing new, sadly, and neither is their participation in war crimes & genocide or outright funding of genocide.
But abandoning the superficial norms of politeness & a faux commitment to “democracy” in this specific way is new tbh
@DaveBP2187 Yeah but unfortunately countries like Ukraine have very limited options, who else were they going to choose that would’ve been able to provide them with a significant amount of weapons.
@Kadaveri Yeah, is it surprising? Not at all.
Knowing what they have done to Bosnia, I figured eventually they would do something to Ukraine but not even I expected them to do it as openly and as brazenly as this.
A president and administration that openly engage in such undiplomatic behavior signal not strength, but insecurity. No tact, no diplomacy—just reactionary, thin-skinned leadership reinforcing the U.S.’s long-standing reputation as a global bully.
At least it is on display now.
@dr_Scoo Da ti dragi Allah ukabuli sve tvoje dove i da ti olaksa da nam ubrzo ozdravis. Tu sam jer razumijem. Cuvaj nam se i Inshallah bices ti dobar ❤️❤️❤️
