@TylerSeevers@RuneScape You're right about that. Could cost them more than double what they are paying now to host both games. But it might be worth it to them if their data center provider is constantly having issues like this. Perhaps their fail-over needs to be in-house? 🤷♂️
@Becka_Plays @RuneScape ahh yes, that's a good point. I am not sure how that aspect of the login process works or if there is a workaround for this if they do decide to go in that direction
@OldSchoolRS Question: Would it be possible in the future to have OSRS and Runescape 3 servers housed at separate data centers? That way when/if one were to go down like this then the player base can migrate over to the other in the meantime?

@OldSchoolRS When you contract out your game servers to be hosted by a third party data center so you have wait until they give you updates on when it will be back online but their supprt staff won’t give you information about the issue so you just kinda sit there and hope things get better
