@lucyjaynewhite1 If anyone can turn things around, it's the British people. There'll always be an England. Our existence is non-negotiable. No surrender. No retreat.
@SwallyBBG@RupertLowe10 I agree in theory, but in practice I'm not surprised this is happening and given surveillance capabilities and the bias of the state towards native protestors I can't really condemn the optics either. Obviously a balaclava protest isn't ideal, but extreme times... etc.
@SwallyBBG@RupertLowe10 There was no violence. When hundreds of British men gather to complain, their complaints should be heard. The image of our nation has already been tarnished over recent decades.
@_dam19@BrianSpanner1 Wouldn't, but it's a sign of a low-trust society that the public architecture is designed with the awareness that those who might seek to use such architecture for comfort or shelter are prevented from doing so. May be wrong, but see plenty of this kind of thing today.
@MikeTappTweets Hundreds of thousands of foreign unvetted men arriving on our shores, on your watch, is neither legal nor fair. Witnessing many of these men committing the most outrageous crimes on innocent Brits is neither legal nor fair. Your moral outrage is limp and hypocritical.
@ClarkeMicah@KevvyBeeee Why then Mr Hitchens do you lock the front door of your home? Is it by chance to prevent unwanted people, namely those not among your kin, from entering and ruining the place and/or making it their own? As always, your ilk do not experience the harm inflicted by open borders.
@RichardJMurphy What is the required response by the state to hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants invading the country year upon year? The state has abdicated its responsibilities, and so the people act. An absent parent should not be expected to appear only to discipline its child.
@MikeTappTweets Intimidating men being shipped in who don't even live in the area! My goodness, what a scandal! The hypocrisy here is laughable, even the wording gives the game away. Mike Tapp you weak, useless man.
@Scum_boy0@BasilTheGreat I've no intention of playing dumb about the scale of the injustice inflicted upon us. I just don't think encouraging an atmosphere wherein large numbers of deaths is celebrated is the healthy or right thing.
@Smarties_UK@BasilTheGreat I said nothing about indifference, and I agree with your general sentiment. But the atmosphere developing is one of gleeful enjoyment at the sight of suffering. I simply disagree with that, on a fundamental level.
@Smarties_UK@BasilTheGreat I acknowledge migrant crime and am not trying to play devil's advocate. But to assume that 80 people suffocating as their lungs fill with water are rapists, drug mules, scammers, etc is irrational and unempathetic imo. You can support stronger borders and remigration without that
@JohnG87705@BasilTheGreat I support mass deportation and stopping those who arrive here illegally. But a look at the world tells us there are countless desperate or grossly ill-informed people among those seeking life outside of their impoverished countries. Wishing them death is an act devoid of empathy.
