@SwallyBBG @RupertLowe10 I agree in theory, but in practice I'm not surprised this is happening and given surveillance capabilities and the bias of the state towards native protestors I can't really condemn the optics either. Obviously a balaclava protest isn't ideal, but extreme times... etc.

But to assume that 80 people suffocating as their lungs fill with water are rapists, drug mules, scammers, etc is irrational and unempathetic imo. You can support stronger borders and remigration without that

But a look at the world tells us there are countless desperate or grossly ill-informed people among those seeking life outside of their impoverished countries. Wishing them death is an act devoid of empathy.
