Tons of people noticing my posts and analysis now, so just throwing out some general rules of thumb to ensure you don’t shoot your self in the foot.
1/ My win rate is far from 100%, but the gain % on my winners will significantly outweigh the the loss % on losers. This is due to the risk to reward model that I utilize where in most cases, winners will be 300-500%+
2/ All tools and analysis I use should be utilized as CONFLUENCE. Don’t just look at one dimension or parameter and let that override everything else and become your thesis. Trading is a game of probabilities, and we all have a checklist that we go through to determine the probable outcome of a trade.
3/ Don’t ever concentrate your entire portfolio into a single trade. While most set ups will pay out within a week, some may take weeks or months to play out. The problem with over concentrating your portfolio in a single trade is that you will end up on a crutch and any bad news, or trade that doesn’t go as planned will fuck you.
4/ Always ensure you have dry powder. Opportunities will always arise and surface. Don’t be stupid.
5/ Don’t ever chase my set ups. I usually will put an OTE (optimal target entry). You should be buying or shorting into those OTEs, not hopping on a move after it has started to play out. That will skew and kill the risk to reward model I have, and my strategy will no longer work for you.
6/ You need loose stops. This is due to theta burn, or due to the front running nature of how I trade where we may not time the absolute low or high. While rare, I also have room to improve. Better to take smaller size and looser stop rather than larger size and tighter stop.
If you follow these rules and my form of analysis, you will be successful.
Delicious example of @SkylitAI Atlas x Flow wombo combo shorting $AAOI.
The negative gamma node at 150 popped, pulling price towards it. Ceiling also rolled down.
Whats crazy is you can actually see the flow that CAUSED the node to pop...
Watch as price drifts towards that node, right after institutions slammed puts.
This is called confluence.
Want to know the Atlas x Flow settings that catches moves like these?
