@BCRHNetwork While the closures are real, and being felt locally, at least there's hope as the new Stuart Lake Hospital develops too! #rural#healthcare

@ivanculum A7: I'd say the pandemic has brought the idea of change to a place of happening vs an idea but has surfaced more issues than can handle and made health more complex and challenging. Now we just need staff to do basic functions
@ivanculum A5: the patient is being seen as a person able to make choice, and the practitioner is there to support and guide as desired. There is less 'this is what you must do...' hence the changes to come!
@ivanculum 1) consider the effort and scale of project like 'just do it and low effort' vs high effort and big impact. From there determine capacity and what can be done with what's available. 2) readiness for change - some things may be easier to do if change is already happening.
@ashcamRN@YouTube I hope for hybrid for sure. Not everyone likes virtual and it should be up to the person to decide if it's part of how they recieve health care or not.
@ivanculum There's many factors, but the latest Canada Food Guide was meant to be followed up with guidelines for health professionals to use in practice and menu development...still waiting #canadafoodguide
@RIGGSDT@ivanculum Mine is slowly moving over, very phased out and it does not talk with other systems in place. I work in five different EMRs, none talk. That's a lot of passwords to remember...#ehealth
