so that’s my traumatic birth story and i just wanna say fk the army for sending me into a stress induced early labor 🙃 but thankful Luxen and I are alive and healthy today ♥️
I was crying from being in pain and honestly didn’t know wtf was going on 😂 and i said “yay…it hurts!” one doctor told me later that they had several people on me trying to keep me still… idr that at all 🥴
i was wheeled away to the OR and within 4 minutes they put me completely under and cut me open and got my baby out. And it was a BOY! we had waited the entire pregnancy to find out and i woke up in pain and one nurse said “YOU HAD A BOY!”
ruben lifted the sheet and said it looked like he had taken gallon jugs and just poured out all my blood. at that point ruben was left in the room with this
headed to the hospital and things just got worse. So much blood. The doctor was talking to me about idek what and i said “uh yeah, it feels like i’m peeing….a lot” the nurse and doctor didn’t listen
and then, in the middle of my shower i heard & felt a pop. blood started flowing 🙃 i yelled for ruben to get the car ready and hand me a towel. He was FREAKING OUT 😂 “should i call an ambulance?!” NO DUDE JUST GET ME A TOWEL AND GET IN THE CAR.
i went home to relax and take a nap. only i couldn’t fall asleep bc my back was hurting and i couldn’t get comfortable or ignore the contractions. i went to take a shower to try and help..
my coworkers felt how tight my belly was and one of them (also pregnant) was like drink more water or go to L&D. i ignored her. i was finneeeee 🙃 hehe yeah right
I got my P status and my water didn’t break thankfully. I stayed at work and my contractions got worse but honestly, i was in denial. i was only 33 weeks and no way was i in labor. I sat in a meeting bc my unit just got back from a field training exercise.
A year ago I woke up panicking and stressing about going to the board to get my P status. I was 100% having contractions and i even joked that my water would break in the middle of the board and i would maintain my professionalism
