We’ve received replies (finally) from @hmrcgovuk to our two letters. In both cases HMRC fail to answer questions asked & continue to evade scrutiny.

In one case we pointed out their FOI response failed to answer questions. So what do they do? Cut & paste the same FOI response!!

I would urge all MPs to support NC31.

It does NOT clear historical tax debts.

It LETS HMRC exercise their full range of administrative powers (enquiries/assessments) to challenge loan schemes provided (as they mostly did) HMRC took timely action under Taxes Management Act 1970.

My interest was more than 50% of the original demand. It’s @HMRCgovuk fault for the delay and adding 50% is adding daylight robbery to retrospective taxation robbery, literally killing good hard working people #scumHMRC
