All the normal vrc players don't hop on vrc everyday and usually only hop on when planned with a friend over discord instead of actually engaging with the community.

The more you treat vrchat as some important aspect of your life and not just as another game or tool the more unhealthy it becomes and most people on vrchat the more you play and let it interwine with your life the easier it becomes for most people to treat it as an unhealthy dependence.

If vrc was full of normal people it may not be like that but it's just the more and more strange vrc got the more normal people who only hopped on vrc sometimes got alienated and overtime weeded themselves out to the point most people nowadays who end up sticking with vrc in the active community are not usually the most normal or adapted to begin with and thus makes finding normal connections on vrc much harder.
