Holi.
Hoy hace un año que salí del hospital después de un ingreso muy largo por depresión. Y sigo con depresión.

Pero solo quiero dejar por aquí a modo de autorecordatorio que entre muchos otros, estos gatitos seguirían en la calle o hubieran muerto si la depresión hubiese ganado la batalla en el primer asalto.

Solo por si a alguien le sirve para aguantar hasta mañana.
Que quizás hoy no le conoces pero hay alguien en un futuro no tan lejano que le va a dar sentido a todo el sufrimiento. Que vas a hacer algo bueno cuando te recuperes un poquito y que cuando mires atrás, sabiendo todo lo que ha dolido dirás: volvería a pasar por esto si esto era el precio de ayudar a esa o esas criaturillas.

Y que por muy bien que te haga sentir saber que les has salvado tú... Son ellos quienes te han salvado a ti.

Que no hay que tener un don, no hay que ser rico, no hay que ser guapo, no hay pesar x kilos.. Que yo no tengo nada especial, ni soy un ser de luz ni tengo nada que tú no tengas. Que todo el mundo puede ayudar de una manera u otra. Y que todos los granitos de arena son necesarios.

Gracias a vosotros por ayudarme a ayudarles. Y gracias a ellos por salvarme por lo menos un ratito ❤️‍🩹

This is Itsy, one of our two rescued Tabby’s. She is about 10.

Always an indoor/outdoor cat with freedom to go and come.

She disappeared late yesterday. I spent 45 minutes searching the five acres for her. Nowhere to be found.

My wife spent 30 minutes searching the house, and another hour outside. She slept on the couch to be close to the door. She even went out at 2 am for 20 minutes to search.

About 4 am my wife heard scratching at the door.

Went to the door. Nothing. Searched some more outside. Laid back down. Then scratching again.

She was in the kitchen cabinets.

Damn cat.

minggu lalu aku rescue kucing di tengah trotoar, tepat di lampu merah jalan raya. Kondisinya udah ancur krn ketabrak😭 aku buru2 angkat ke pinggir jalan, dan rescue ke vet deket rumahku. jarak lokasi ke vet cukup jauh.

skrg kondisinya jauh lebih baik 🙏😭
