Value-added spice products continued to drive India’s spice exports in April 2026. Mint Products recorded exports worth ₹304.11 crore with 29% growth; Spice Oils and Oleoresins achieved ₹347.93 crore with 15% growth; and Curry Powder and Paste reached ₹184.05 crore with 12% growth, showing strong performance in export value.
The consistent growth of these value-added products highlights India’s expanding footprint in the global spice trade and the increasing preference for premium processed spice products worldwide.

Speaking at Textiles Summit 2026, Commerce Secretary Shri @RajeshAgrawal94 said that over 500 workshops will be organised across the country to explain the opportunities created by Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). He highlighted that detailed information on sector-wise and product-wise opportunities, tariffs, and market access will be shared with industry and other stakeholders.
