I saw a post on Reddit that said, “When you walk through a museum, you’re not just looking at art. You’re moving through centuries of people trying to explain love, grief, power, beauty, and belonging.” I don’t think I’ve ever seen a museum described so beautifully.
It is said that:
لكل بيت أسرار
"Every house has its secrets..."
So whenever you visit someone:
ادخل بيوت الناس أعمى واطرش واطلع من عندهم أخرس
"Enter people's homes as if you are blind & deaf ... and exit their homes as if you are mute."
The problem isn't that humanities degrees don't lead to jobs. It's that we've built a world with no room for literature, art, or philosophy, anything that expresses the human soul.
born between 2000–2005, we played outside till sunset, grew up on tv cartoons, lived through the pre-smartphone era, and watched the world go digital. we really got a little bit of everything.
