@literallyjuste its possible to reset without deleting most of your files. It deletes all of your applications that aren't in the documents folder or your own directory, but that should be easier to replace. would recommend going ahead with the SSD, but its an option if its thats not possible

@literallyjuste had this exact same issue with windows refusing to complete updates and showing that exact screen and found one solution was to reset the pc and reinstall the os.... incredibly annoying and you still had to install the update afterwards but it did work and helped a little bit.
