🧠 To make it clear: by leaving NATO the US would have much more chance to be at war at some point, because if there is a war in Europe the US will be at risk and will join but later in time like durant WW2 which would make it harder for your army. NATO is a way to protect Europeans AND the US from war, because the war isn’t supposed to spread to NATO countries cause that would mean starting a war with the US. Leaving NATO is like the US admitting they are not feared anymore, which is in itself a dangerous message for your ennemies. You can ask more from Europeans but leaving NATO will make you more likely to be at war at some point 🧠
