As far as I understand, yes. The amendment was made in order to prevent a person, ngo, church/mosque, medical staff who are helping those people, from becoming punishable. While it remains a criminal offence for a failed asylum seeker who went through the whole process, and whose country is safe to return to, to stay nevertheless. This is the case in most countries in the world. It happened to many people from ex-Yugoslavia as well in the nineties. When (after losing their cases) they eventually were deported with some pennies in their pockets, and then decided to return, they were also detained. Nowadays failed asylum seekers get offered 5000 euros and 2500 per child as reintegration support, as well as all flight tickets paid (recently raised in September 2025). They are treated with respect and their cases are properly studied before any decision. Altogether a very humane treatment, in my opinion
Actually I do have a clue. And of course, making it illegal to buy a starving person some food, would be a very sick idea. Therefore and to change that, an amendment to that bill had already been made and was passed in the House of Representatives on the 18th of December 2025. Yesterday that new bill with the amendment was rejected in the Senate. The bill is about rejected adult asylum seekers, who need to (and can) return to their countries of origin. And I don’t stick to talking about Spain, because there are no real borders within Europe and whatever happens here (like Pedro Sanchez’ recent decision) might affect your country and vice versa. Spain e.g. is crowded with Dutch criminals who come here to flood the European markets with drugs, bringing violence and shootings. But the real question is: where do we want go to as a continent? Evolve or go backwards? And where are we heading to now? More and more people are awakening and realising that we all are one and should live in harmony with each other and this planet. People who don’t care about other people’s race, religion or sexual orientation. Exactly because of this evolution we should protect what we are about to achieve from people who come here to turn back the clock, to reverse decades of progress, and revert to a restrictive, non-tolerant society (especially for women and gay people), full of shame and blame
Trump knows that he‘ll be taken out if he goes out of line. Rather than that he chooses generational wealth for him and his bloodline. “Plata o plomo” on the highest level. Netanyahu gifted him a golden pager as a reminder one year ago. Unlike Massie he’s not a warrior, ready to die for his cause
@MarioNawfal They all deny any wrongdoing, but not a single person who’s been in close contact with Epstein, says feeling repulsed or shocked by the findings in the files.
He will do it at the end of his term and she knows it. A couple more years only in the minimum-security Club Fed and back to her vibrant life. A real happy-go-lucky
A Federal Prison Camp (FPC), often colloquially referred to as "Club Fed," is the lowest security level in the United States federal prison system, designed for nonviolent, low-risk offenders. These facilities feature dormitory-style housing, minimal to no perimeter fencing, and a focus on work programs.

•Environment: Often compared to a college campus with dormitory, or "dorm-style," housing instead of cells.
•Freedom: Generally, inmates have more freedom of movement,, less supervision, and more access to recreational activities compared to higher-security institutions.
•Labor: Residents are typically required to work at the facility, on off-site work programs, or in agricultural programs.
