Side note,
My dad and cousin r both ortho surgeons, and iโve been studying ortho since day #1 (humble ik). But itโs just really not it for me
Letโs make space for humility about our own limits. If you ever feel unsure/dk, thereโs no shame in saying so
The real strength is in asking for help or stepping back. None of us knows everything, and thatโs okay!
A patientโs life always comes first
Compulsions of finding answers of every problem patient present to you is outside the scope of your service , helping your patient is your goal not satisfying them
I realized that I spent a big chunk of my life focused on improving myself, treating myself like a project under construction. Along the way, I forgot who I was, and I forgot just how beautiful life really is

โdon't allow individualism to corrupt your empathy. acknowledge your privilege and perhaps stand for something/ anything bigger than yourself.โ
