Now that my beta readers have had my manuscript for two days, I keep thinking: ahhh this X scene could have been better. This scene needed Y and I didn’t do it. This Z sex scene was not ready. But I won’t touch the MS until the deadline because…

I’m trying not to think about the scenes I cut that e have been good and explain things that are not explained now because I didn’t want to have a lore dump on chapter 6, for example.

@TheBeeMorris Yeah. I got Dropbox connected plus the backup. Additionally I have like hard backups when I reach a point (draft 1, 2,3, etc) and out that in Google Drive lol. I’m so paranoid

@TheBeeMorris And my paranoia started all because I have an old version of my manuscript in the old scrivener but I can’t open it because the project file is gone. I’m sure my manuscript is shit, but im forever having 10482 redundancies in my files

@TheBeeMorris I fear this a lot. I have my manuscript on the cloud (like iCloud) because I write in Obsidian but also I have a copy of the MS in Dropbox where the scrivener copy lives. I have automated the sync (scrivener backs up when I close the window).
