Aussie champ @rubyr_g admits there was an element of luck to her Tour of Britain stage win, but that's far from the full story. An interesting chat with her here. https://t.co/XZeRRtu9Py

Great day watching women's & men's @LiegeBastogneL on La Redoute yesterday despite the weather. Our 5 & 7 year old son & daughter have 2 great souvenirs to remember the day & plant some seeds! Thanks to @CUttrupLudwig & @rubyr_g. 1/2
The #RVVwomen had a combined TV audience in Flanders (1,03m) & Netherlands (1,43m) of almost 2,5 million TV viewers. It is by far the worldwide best watched women's classics race ever, only topped by WC & La Course. Congrats @FlandersClassic for promoting #womencycling so well.
R.I.P. Angus Collins. Loved by his family, friends and the Brunswick Cycling Club community. A young man robbed of his future far too soon who will be sorely missed.
Important to add: it was the first year they used junior riders instead of podium girls for on stage presentations. I’d highly recommend all races consider the switch!
Perfect tactics from Jayco-AlUla in the last 1500m of #TourDownUnder Stage 2.
Reverse leadout by @rubyr_g using Spratt as a bridge put Manly in a perfect seat whilst Brown had to burn herself.
Now the question is whether they can defend the jersey vs Spratt & Brown on Corkscrew

The effect of the TDFF in real. A great example that we not only inspire through success but also by showing how we can be determined & resilient even if we don’t succeed. My 5yr old niece saw so many examples of this at TDFF & I’m proud I can be a role model to her ☺️❤️ #tdff
📺 We have one more pre race interview from stage 2 of @LeTourFemmes: @rubyr_g of @GreenEDGEteam told us about her experiences from Paris and what her team is planning today and this week. #TDFF
That's not a bad start to the season for Ruby Roseman-Gannon 😅
She'd done a few races in Europe towards the end of 2019 but the question mark was there about whether the results would come outside of Australia.
Well, that question mark is very definitely gone now 🔥

It comes down to a sprint finish with @rubyr_g right in the mix as she sprints to second place! 👊 An impressive start to the Euro season for the young Aussie! 👏
