Western Illinois INF Payton Brown has entered the transfer portal following the Leathernecks' coaching change.

The 2025 OVC Player of the Year, Brown hit .413 with 13 home runs and 38 RBIs in her POTY season. She followed that with a .396/9/40 stat line in 2026.
