As I told @RuchiKumar in this @ForeignPolicy article about the Pakistan-Taliban war, the Taliban are hyper ideological. For them, no amount of convergence of political interest can overcome ideological misalignment.

#JournoRequest Looking for a contact for Keith Cressman at the UN's Food and Agriculture Organisation. His FAO email ID doesn't work, so any alternative contact would be very useful. Thank you!
I am not active on Twitter anymore, but I felt like this needed to be shared here too. From my recent trip to #Ukraine.
A Shahed drone carries as much payload as a carbomb. Now imagine 100s of these, along with other missiles, exploding over heavily populated cities almost daily
Communities are also adapting their lives to the war; think underground schools and hospitals (story on that soon!). Theres a lot of dignity and grace in how Ukrainian respond to the violence around them. But this shouldn’t be normal for anyone.
