The Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris is a masterpiece of Gothic art of the 12th century, famous for its imposing rosettes and gargoyles. On April 15, 2019, a devastating accidental fire destroyed its emblematic needle and much of its wooden roof. After an exhaustive restoration, the temple reopened its doors in December 2024.

Thanks to massive donations from around the world and a monumental effort by hundreds of artisans, it was possible to rebuild the roof and the needle exactly as they were, using traditional techniques and historical materials.

After more than five years of intense work, the iconic temple celebrated its great official reopening in December 2024.
