@C_Herronauthor You just provided me with a light bulb moment. Seriously. I've been using that function for years at the very end for one of my edit/revision passes, but to do it at the end of each chapter? So smart! I'm now sitting here wondering why I never thought of that. Thanks!
@jayacunzo I distinctly remember those days. You described them PERFECTLY! To the 1 who believes women should stay at home ... like me, many probably added in 1 or 2 P-T jobs on top of being SAHMs just to help make ends meet and retain some sanity.
@ThomasECoffman Good for you for reaching out! Writing is all too often a solitary work of heart. From a writer who battles depression, get out of the house, out of your own head, and go do something fun, creative, or in touch with nature. Pour into YOU so you can pour out to others.
@hadl I think your smile is a tiny bit more genuine in the one on the left, like you were enjoying the process more in that one. Can you have your photographer (or even yourself) remove that background with a photo editing program and try others?
@MKeenerWrites * Is there a writing conference coming up you want to go to? $ toward that or the extras that usually come with them?
* do you have professional headshots? Maybe he could pay for a good photographer for those?
I love it when my husband gifts things that support my work.
@LanaCwrites To me, it depends on the context and *feel* that you want to lend that particular line or piece. In my mind, develop is something that you would learn, research, and work at, whereas nurture is something you would tend to, think through, and care about.
