We've written series of letters,& appealed to INEC to set up mobile registration centres across UNIVERSITY Campuses⚠️‼️

We promised we’d have volunteers work with them for FREE, but INEC has refused.

I'm convinced they're intentionally sabotaging our efforts and attempting to reduce the number of new voters.🤷‍♂️

However, We are now Providing Transportation for the UNIVERSITY STUDENTS from Campuses to, & from the INEC Offices!

Since they’ve refused to set up mobile registration centres to aide registration on compauses.

It was supposed to be an ordinary evening in Jos.

A 300-level University of Jos student and a young NYSC corps member, both at the beginning of their adult lives, were in an apartment when armed men forced their way in. By the time it was over, the two had been taken, and two other people who tried to flee were shot and killed.

Somewhere in Plateau State tonight, families are waiting for news. The abductors have already been in touch, demanding ₦30 million for the corps member's release, with reports suggesting the total ransom demand for both victims reaches ₦50 million.

For most Nigerian families, those figures are simply impossible.
Police say rescue operations are underway. Security agencies are involved. The right things are being said and, hopefully, the right things are being done.

What makes this harder to sit with is that it is not an isolated event. Students from Ambrose Alli University, from Federal University Lafia, the pattern is familiar, the ransom figure almost identical each time. Someone has found a formula, and it keeps working.

For now, two families are waiting. And that is the part that stays with you.
