Finn was ridiculous never doubt him. Feel for Hamish, won 6 Nations player of the tournament and arguably has the best discipline of any 7 in international rugby. Played 20 minutes first test and that’s it.
@SamLStandsUp I did enjoy the first test mainly cause a lot of 50/50s went BIL's way - which almost what you rely on. Anyway it's over now and the series is poised. Roll on the third test Sam!
@SamLStandsUp You're right he isn't. But if we go in with a game plan which is both a bore and unsuccessful then more pitchforks come out than if we lose but play a bit of rugby. Personally, I can't stand the winning ugly mentality - high balls and 50/50s, go as far to call it "anti-rugby"
@SamLStandsUp For me it's not about whether it's effective or not. I found it to be a boring sporting spectacle as I think a lot of people did.
If you're trying to grow the game and get more people watching then you can't have game plans like that.
Dan Biggar passed the ball 3 times!
@thedeadballarea Agreed - need to be more reactive in strategy than selection.
Just felt Daly and Farrell off the bench wasn't going to inspire attacking threat you need when chasing a game.
@agjones92 Nothing wrong with Hogg's areal game today - it was the wingers who lost that battle.
In any case - the issue was with the kick and catch strategy and lack of attack we showed. No disrespect but a player like Halfpenny is the opposite of what we need.
@Cam_Leeming I took up boxing. Much more disciplined and strategy focused sport than people give it credit for. Fitness is mad too and gives you your contact fix. Also play tag rugby to get my hands on the egg.
