🏉Primary CPD conducted for 6⃣ of the coaches!

🤩 34 players attended our Taster Session at @WestLeedsEagles this week!

👦 29 new players for the game, providing West Leeds with enough players for both 6s and 7s moving forward.

🏉 Our staff also provided Coach CPD for Tag games to help support them moving forward.

A great evening with @NLeedsLeopards last night, delivering a Parents Volunteering workshop for U11 and U13 parents, followed by a CPD session for U13 coaches!🏉

Creating more psychological saftey around contact sports. Students can select their own partners. Coaches can manipulate constraints eg. Start positions, pre-bind, area size, outcome criteria (take down, lift, steel). Students explore ways while coaches guide and feedback.

@TorfaenTigersRL Unfortunately it happens in both codes, I've witnessed this the other way around, although from a RL heartland may be the reason. I suppose until more coaches understand the benefits of playing both sports these views will remain.
