Officers arrested a man after responding to a report of someone breaking into a shop in William Street, Rugby in the early hours of this morning. The 45-year-old man from Rugby was arrested on suspicion of burglary and remains in custody.
We’re appealing for information and urging residents to take precautions following two attempted burglaries at the same property in Lutterworth Road, Pailton (near Rugby) yesterday.

Cannabis and suspected cocaine were recovered and a man arrested by detectives from Rugby Proactive CID while they were on plain cloth patrol in Cross Street, Rugby yesterday.

A section 59 has been served to a male that was riding his bike in a manner that was causing harassment alarm and distress to members of the public.
This was in a local park area and was reported by local residents.

Whilst looking for a missing person officers from @NWarksCops found a stolen vehicle that still had its engine running. Vehicle had been stolen from Leicestershire. Incident 393 of 08/03/21 refers. Enquiries are ongoing. CM
