The Rotary Club of Rugby held their annual Club Assembly meeting online. Club President Sue Maguire chaired the meeting and welcomed Assistant District Governor Jaz Dhalwal. The meeting was attended by 43 members who reviewed the clubs 2020/21 programme.

Rugby Rotary Club has donated £1,000 to the City Gates Academy in Manila for a new photocopier. The Academy provides free education to poor children in one of the poorest neighbourhoods.
Once again the donations from Rotary, friends and family have been amazing and here is a snapshot of them. £180 was also received to buy more goods for the YMCA. Hilary Jarman

The first round of this year's Rotary District 1060 Quiz has taken place. Six Rotary Clubs from Coventry and Rugby competed. The Rotary Club of Rugby emerged as the winner with Coventry Breakfast second and Rugby Saturday Breakfast third. Rugby now goes on to the final.
Each archer fired 60 arrows, and the maximum score was 600. Iris Bingham scored 594 - wow - well done. But those who scored a lot less, and sometimes missed the target, all enjoyed themselves on an excellent afternoon of sport and fellowship
Sunday 17th November saw the first pud shoot to be held in Rugby. The shoot is so named as all the prizes are Xmas Puddings. Many of the archers were disabled and others had only just taken up the sport. Rugby Rotary has a long history of involvement in sport for the disabled
The Rotary Club of Rugby who have been planting crocus bulbs in the Rupert Brooke Memorial Park, Regents Place, Rugby for Rotary International End Polio Campaign. Visit the park in spring to see the purple display the symbol of the campaign. #endpolio
