16 years ago, Louis Tomlinson was placed in a band, One Direction, where he spent 5 great years showing his talent alongside his 4 bandmates. The band had massive tours and number-one albums, breaking records with every new era.
Louis also demonstrated his songwriting talent, writing 37 songs for One Direction, most notably on their third album, Midnight Memories, where he co-wrote 12 of the 18 tracks.
When the band came to an end, Louis began a new chapter, building his own fanbase, people who eagerly awaited the start of his solo career.
Bit by bit, he began releasing music until the debut of his first album, Walls, and his first world tour, as his path began to take shape. Then came his second album, Faith In The Future, where for the first time in his solo career, he achieved a #1 in the UK. His tour grew even bigger, transitioning from theaters to major arenas and stadiums in Latin America, making him the first male solo artist to perform a show at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico. Currently, he is on his third album, How Did I Get Here?, and his third world tour, once again securing a #1 in the UK and expanding into even more countries.
So, thank you so much, One Direction, for giving us Louis Tomlinson, a remarkably talented, generous, resilient, and loving person.
Thank you for introducing us to a great artist who means so much to thousands of fans today.
