ভারতে কৃষিকাজের জন্য গরু পরিবহনের সময় একদল মুসলিমকে আটকে দড়ি দিয়ে বেঁধে নির্মমভাবে পেটাল হিন্দুত্ববাদী বিজেপি নেতারা

গত শুক্রবার পশ্চিমবঙ্গের দুর্গাপুরে কৃষিকাজের জন্য গরু নিয়ে যাওয়ার সময় হিন্দুত্ববাদী মব দুইজন বৃদ্ধ মুসলিমকে দড়ি দিয়ে বেঁধে মারধর করে। এরপর তাদের সাথে থাকা অন্য মুসলিম সফরসঙ্গীদেরও পেটায় তারা। এই তথাকথিত গো-রক্ষকরা মুসলিমদের পেটানোর সময় বাংলাদেশি বলেও তকমা দেয়। এ কাজের নেতৃত্ব দেয় বিজেপির যুব মোর্চার নেতা পারিজাত গঙ্গোপাধ্যায়।

মুহূর্তেই স্যোসাল মিডিয়ায় ভাইরাল হয় এ ঘটনার কয়েকটি ভিডিও। যেখানে দেখা যায়, রাস্তায় গরু ভর্তি গাড়ি আটকে কয়েকজনকে হাত বেঁধে মারধর এবং কান ধরে রাস্তায় হাঁটানো হচ্ছে। পুলিশ কমিশনার বলেন, গরু বোঝাই ওই গাড়িটি বৈধ ছিল। কাগজপত্র সব ঠিকঠাক ছিল। কোনও গরু পাচারের ঘটনা নয়। বাঁকুড়ার একটি হাট থেকে দুর্গাপুর হয়ে গাড়িটি জেমুয়া যাচ্ছিল।

তিনি আরো বলেন; “দীপক দাস ও অনীশ ভট্টাচার্য নামে দুই জনকে গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে। তাঁরা স্থানীয় বিজেপি নেতা। আর পারিজাত গঙ্গোপাধ্যায় রাজ্য যুব মোর্চার সদস্যও। তাঁদের সঙ্গে যে ১৫-২০ জন সমর্থক ছিলেন, তাঁদের আমরা চিহ্নিত করেছি। এইসব কোনওভাবেই বরদাস্ত করা হবে না। যাঁরা এই ঘটনায় জড়িত, তাঁদের প্রত্যেককে গ্রেপ্তার করা হবে। এবং আইন অনুযায়ী ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হবে।” ঘটনার মূল হোতা পারিজাতকে এখনও গ্রেপ্তার না করতে পারার কারণ হিসেবে পুলিশ কমিশনার বলেন, “পুলিশ তাঁর বাড়িতে অভিযান চালিয়েছিল। তবে তাঁকে বাড়িতে পাওয়া যায়নি। তিনি গা ঢাকা দিয়েছেন। খুব শীঘ্রই ধরা হবে।”

ভারতে প্রতিবছরই গো-রক্ষার নামের মুসলিমদের হত্যা-নির্যাতন করে আসছে হিন্দুরা। অথচ, ভারত বিশ্বে গরু মাংস রপ্তানিতে দ্বিতীয় শীর্ষস্থান অধিকারী, যার বার্ষিক আয় ৩.৮ বিলিয়ন ডলার। কেবল চলতি বছর ২০২৫ সালে দেশটি প্রায় ১.৬৫ মিলিয়ন মেট্রিক টন গরুর মাংস রপ্তানি করেছে।
