>> “Dinner will arrive shortly.” she purred, leading Evelyn over to their table. Releasing her hand before pulling the seat out for the brunette.
“You inform me far more regularly than you might think.” Irene reached out and took the younger woman’s hand as the elevator came to a stop and the doors opened up to a beautifully lit rooftop courtyard.

The assistant bit her lip as the lift began to move, turning so that she was facing Irene. Something about the suit she was wearing, the way it hugged her curves... it all made Evelyn feel intoxicated. Intoxicated, and needy.
"You are.. so beautiful. I feel like I don't tell —
“Yes, well… I unfortunately had to relocate. That is a story for another day however.” Irene let out a small chuckle, swiping her card and pressing the button to the courtyard atop of her building.
“I will always adore your appreciation for my particular aesthetic.”
"You flatter me too much, Irene."
She knew that the older woman hated when Evelyn implied that the compliments were not well deserved, but she couldn't help herself. Even though it had been a few months, she was not used to the praise. "Honestly, I didn't think your house —
Irene extended her hand to take the younger woman’s after opening the car door for her.
“By the gods you are beautiful.” Irene breathed, taking in Evelyn and the gorgeous form fitting blue dress as she stepped out of the vehicle.

“Anything that was designed with your taste would be gorgeous.” The secretary’s eyes lit up when she saw the apartment building. Even the curb appeal was enough to take someone’s breath away.
Evelyn bit her lip and waited for Irene to open her door, having learned from last —
“Mmm, it is quite nice. The renovations took a little longer than expected, however the results were exactly as I designed. The work was impeccable.” Irene nodded, her eyes falling upon the apartment building coming up on the right.

Evelyn groaned softly at the thought, her eyes darkening ever so slightly. “Dinner, a show, and… dessert.” A not-so-subtle once over before she turned her attention out of the windows, watching the passing lights.
“I am excited to see your new place, Miss Adler.”
“Mm, well.” Irene glanced out of the window, they weren’t far away from her new abode.
“Not long now, and you can enjoy dinner and a show.” A smirked tugged at the corners of the older woman’s lips, she did quite enjoy indulging in

“It’s one of the very few things keeping me sane, so yes.”
Evelyn had always been a very matter-of-fact person, and she couldn’t help it. She never really knew why, but she did know that Irene was someone she felt comfortable around in every sense of the word.
“I mean, I —
“Is that so?” a smile played across the older woman’s lips, Evelyn was something else. Not only that, the secretary was the only woman that had impacted Irene on such a profoundly deep level in such a long time, she was also the only woman Irene had allowed to

Was she falling for Irene? If she was, she wasn’t ready to admit it.
Part of her was worried that it would ruin a good thing, putting a label on it. And another part of her was worried if she didn’t put a label on it, it would disappear right in front of her.
“Well, I —
“Oh honey, you could sleep the whole time and I wouldn’t hold it against you.” Irene let out a soft chuckle, was Evelyn falling for Irene? Perhaps… Irene was very aware of her feelings for the younger woman.
“You are free to just relax.”’
Evelyn melted into the kiss, a content sigh slipping past her lips. “That sounds… perfect,” she mumbled against those intoxicating red lips.
“Don’t be offended if I sleep for the first day, I’m so exhausted I feel like I’ll never catch up on lost sleep.”
“I can tell, you work hard. Very hard, you haven’t had a day off in over a month.” Irene leaned in and gave the younger woman a kiss.
“You deserve a couple of days off.” She husked out, her gaze focusing on the gorgeous eyes staring up at her.
“Which I have organised.

It had been, well… her whole life since she had someone take care of her the way that Irene did. She was attentive, and worked with the knowledge she gained.
“Thank you, for… not setting up something that would be overstimulating for me. It’s hard after being in the office —
“Mmm, after dinner I have a couple of movies on offer. Projector is already set up.” Irene replied, a soft groan finally escaping ruby lips.
“Then to my penthouse.” she purred.
“Ugh, I could kiss you,” she let out a sigh of relief, fingers tracing circles on the older woman’s thigh. “How is it that you always seem to know exactly what I need?”
Evelyn knew what she’d say, so she breathed out quietly, “A lady never shares her secrets.”
“Roof top dining, just us… aside from the private chef.” Irene replied, giving Evelyn a wink and holding in a groan the moment the other woman squeezed her thigh.
Her hand almost immediately went to rest on the woman’s inner thigh, squeezing softly as her teeth sunk into her bottom lip.
“Are you taking me somewhere private? I… want to be able to focus purely on you, Miss Adler. Well that, and my social battery is drained.”
Irene slid into the seat next to the other woman, she adored making her feel good. Evelyn’s was gorgeous, and not only was she gorgeous… she was a wonderful human being. Something Irene found was always in awe of.
The secretary’s cheeks went pink at the compliment, eyebrows knitting together as the door was opened for her. “Ah, chivalry isn’t dead.”
Evelyn’s small smile morphed into a smirk as she got into the car, sitting her purse beside her feet.
