some studies are traced over from the actual artworks/tutorials like for the cloth rendering
since in some cases the point is to practice rendering and not drawing
so it is only done for the sake of speed and to focus on the rendering
and alot of studies are based on references

im planning on applying anatomy properly on my drawings
even the ones i aim to finish rather than just practice drawings
maybe the resulting drawings will turn out better too
its gonna be more time consuming so i hope the result will be worth it
@maro2ki3 thank you!
i tried learning anatomy before too
even seriously, drawing the bone structure of the body
but it didnt end up helping me much
because it wasnt applicable for my simple drawing style
it was like having a map, taking the longest possible route and not using it at all
@bunuffin yeah
you can just sketch out anatomy and hope its right
using your own intuition
but that reaches a limit at some point if you dont practice applying anatomy
@smoleandswole personally i use some anatomy guides and diagrams online just to check my work
but as for actual tutorials
you can check out lines sensei deep dives series

@BetterCallSucic i only just left it for that upper body area since thats what im mainly concerned with
ill do more targetted practice later on but this is just a drawing im planning on finishing rather than targetted practice
so thats why im pushing myself here
huh what the heck where did you all come from?
its my alt account ofr practice
why does this have 2.5k likes
why does it have any likes at all actually lol

someone like Lines sensei goes directly from fairly simplistic or even "incomplete" looking construction into masterpieces
you just need the minimum information of structure and proportion
then you can just use your own intuition to fill in the blanks
ive been wanting to speed up my drawings
so ive been examining the way i do figures for finished drawings
and honestly i think i should spend less time on it
drawing cleanly hear doesnt mean i can just trace the lineart directly
i still need a bunch of corrections anyway
clean figure drawing can trick you into thinking that the figures look good
but once you trace over them you notice that some things look weird proportionally and are just off
rendering any benefit to spending extra time on them moot
so it is to trick the algorithm lol
i posted the link on discord and it imbeded
which apparently means twitter didnt mark it as nsfw
the original post on my main was marked as nsfw so it didnt embed when i posted the link
