The most important trial at #ASH22: NEUTRODIET, a randomized multicenter trial of 'neutropenic diet' vs normal diet after auto/alloSCT. No differences in infections, aGHVD or hospital days between arms. Less weight loss & better patient satisfaction in normal diet arm! #tcellrx
@rajshekharucms This was my concern too, esp since risk for infection would be driving factor to reservering for later lines. I think adding Tec to Len increases severe neutropenia; would be interested to see if this could be mitigated with GCSF & antimicrobials #ASH22
@JosephHabibi_MD Not to mention that if the patient is documented as leaving AMA, insurance typically won’t pay for the stay. A bad situation all around.
