A good pig unit should have:
clean water
clean housing
proper drainage
quarantine for new pigs
regular observation of animals

When my mum divorced my dad in 2001, she started life again in rented houses. For the last 8 years, I've been paying her rent. Now I'm building her this simple home on the farm. She'll help manage it too. Giving your parents a place to call home is a blessing. I thank God daily.
