It should go without saying that there can be no “both sides” for voting rights. Making it easier for more people to vote - a civic good. Making it harder to vote, and targeting certain populations - a grave threat to democracy.

It is simply wrong that many brave men and women willing to wear our uniform were later deported by the same nation they sacrificed to defend as a result of unnecessary and complex barriers in the naturalization process.
