This will be an unpopular opinion on the Right but I think this is kind of dumb, even as a troll. Lake Ontario was given that name on maps by European explorers long before the Canadian province of Ontario was named. There are several cities in America called Ontario -- at least one of them predating the Canadian province by like 100 years -- because the word originates with native tribes in North America. It's not a Canadian invention. Canadians never uniquely owned the lake or the name. So in effect all you're doing here is actually giving them credit for a thing that wasn't theirs to begin with. Yeah it's funny when Canadians are upset I guess or whatever, but Lake Ontario, the name itself, is *American* history dating back many centuries. Not sure how you own Canada by deleting your own history.

Finance & manufacturing are the top industries (15.6% & 14.1% of regional GDP, respectively). Note the irrelevance of tourism (3% of GDP) compared to other 'third world nations.'

Appalachistan would have a slightly lower Gini coefficient (less income inequality) than the U.S. as a whole. The unemployment rate is ~4%, comparable to the rest of the U.S. & half of France's.

Counting associates degrees + bachelors, Appalachistan would have a tertiary educational attainment rate of 39%, higher than the EU.

Counting bachelor's degrees only (4 yrs in the U.S. vs. 3 yrs in the EU, so biased toward EU), Appalachistan's educational attainment is comparable to Germany (29% vs 30%).

Beef prices aren't up becuase of tariffs you moron. They are up because:
1. 4 meatpackers have consolidated the entire industry and are currently under investigation for price fixing.
2. Cattle herds are at record lows because of leftist policy for the past 10 years intentionally trying to destroy the meat industry to prevent climate change.
3. We imported 40 million people in the past 4 years that are all subsudized by the government to buy beef from walmart.

This is all well known and the American left has been public about this for years. A temporary waver of tariffs on foreign beef to bring prices down during midterm elections is not proof that tariffs are bad or that the current situation is caused by tariffs.
