The executive legislative branches are gone. Now, the judiciary. What exactly is going on with Nigeria's judges?
Whatever legal reforms Nigeria must embark, if at all, must begin with judges. Fish rots from its head. So is Nigeria's judiciary. It's rotting from the judges.
@SaharaReporters It's now clear that whenever Nigeria Police are "mobilized" for elections, they not mobilized for security purposes. Rather, they mobilized to assist or facilitate the rigging of the elections for the party or individual in power.
Peter Lifu's judgment in this party de-registration case evinces a degree of criminal dishonesty that points to something extraordinarily pathological:
1. When the defendants tell him that the plaintiff is an "interloper" with no interest in the case, he says the issues will be disposed of at "trial". But this was an originating summons case & there is no trial as such in originating summons proceedings. If there is need for one, then it is no longer originating summons case.
2. He is shown evidence that the parties that he seeks to de-register have won seats in @nassnigeria & local elections respectively. He claims - without citing any authority or justifying his wistfulness - that victories envisaged by Section 225A of the Constitution exclude persons who have defected from the parties. There is nothing of the sort in the text or texture of the provision.
3. It is brought to his attention that there is an order of @NGCourtofAppeal staying proceedings in the case. He claims no one can arrest his judgment!!🤑🤑🤑
The quality of life in Nigeria will not return to pre-2015 levels in less than 20. The damage to the economy and living standards is too deep to be repaired in less than a generation without drastic policies that the Tinubu admin is philosophically not prepared to make.
I took time to listen to Dr Nnaemeka Obiareri again and I admonish you to do the same if you are from South East Nigeria. Anyone who can tag Governor Soludo should please do, so that he will listen to it too, because the footage directly addresses him. Dr. Obiareri is a retired investment banker with the now defunct BankPHB Plc.
Happy listening.

@FinPlanKaluAja1 Exactly. They simply don't want to do that. They want Nigerians to suffer so that they can be controlled and remain easy to manipulate during elections. It's deliberate.
A must read: Some Kachalla Terrorists from ohaofia kidnapped two young girls and demanded ₦20 million ransom, ₦10 million for each of them.
The youths of Ohaofia did not wait for the governor.
They did not wait for politicians. They did not wait for anybody. They organized themselves, went into the bush, rescued their two sisters, and apprehended the kidnappers.
The most important thing is that the girls were brought back alive.
Surprisingly, this story did not make major headlines across the country. Yet, it is one of those stories that shows the courage, unity, and determination that still exist in our communities.
The people of Ohaofia stood up for their own when it mattered most.
Whether this is the direction communities should take in the face of growing insecurity is a conversation Nigerians must have.
One thing is certain: the youths of Ohaofia have shown courage that many people will not forget.
Kudos to Ohaofia Youths.
2027 is Peter Obi's last shot at the presidency.
2027 is your last opportunity for Peter Obi to pull you out of poverty.
2027 is Nigeria's last chance for Peter Obi to rescue her from that structure of criminality, structure of corruption, structure of looting.
2027 is our last chance to be rescued from this worsening economy, and ravaging insecurity.
Irrespective of how the election goes, Peter obi will remain a wealthy man, a comfortable man, an accomplished man, and a fulfilled man.
The best and only opportunity to take advantage of Peter Obi's availability is this 2027, if not you will suffer. Think about your life 12 years ago, and think about it now. This is not about politics or political party. There is always a positive or negative consequence after every presidential election in Nigeria.
Those who fail to value the treasure they have because it is readily available, will eventually regret when such treasure becomes scarce and unavailable again.
Go out there, get your PVC, vote for Peter Obi and Kwankwaso (OK)
Vote for NDC, defend your votes and make sure it counts.
The Knife is in your hands, the ball is in your court. The choice is yours ✌️
@VivianIfeomaOj Foreigners know about tribalism in Nigeria and use it. @flyethiopian can steal from Igbo sounding names knowing that other Nigerian tribes will believe them.
If other Nigerians believe Igbos to be criminals, support division so that you can have a country without criminals.
Those of you asking how it is possible for someone to be jailed simply for using an en-route visa to Ethiopia,
this is Mr. Francis Chukwuma Uzoh, one of the victims of the Ethiopian Airlines issue. LISTEN TO HIS STORY!!
@NC_Okonkwo Some of us know that everything this man has said is true. Some of us were also around when Peter Obi was governor of Anambra.
Since 1999, other than Alex Otti, Nigeria has never had a more honest and diligent governor in the Southeast. These two men lead with fidelity.
EXCLUSIVE: An Old Tinubu Associate Who Schooled With Peter Obi, Dropped This Mind-Boggling Revelation 👀👀
A Professor of Statistics in Canada, and an old associate of Tinubu, and also a former schoolmate of Peter Obi, came on the Emir Sirdam Show last night, and what he had to say is mind-boggling. 🤦🏾♂️
Every Nigerian needs to see and hear this.
@EmirSirdam we need him here on X.
I need to say something. I have been holding back. I can no longer remain silent.
The Save Nigeria coalition — which I helped build over the past several months, investing my credibility earned over sixteen years in the field — has been derailed, perhaps even captured. At the very least it has become divided, conflicted, co-opted, and I believe counter-productive in the most damaging way possible.
Before I go further, let me say this clearly: I am not questioning the hearts or motivations of the people involved. I believe most of them genuinely care about Nigerian Christians. I believe they want to see the killing stop. What I am questioning — profoundly — is their judgment. And at this moment in history, judgment is everything.

To be clear for the Washington audience: I do not support or advocate for any Nigerian political candidate or faction. I stand with former Ambassador Sam Brownback in believing that Nigerian separation is likely inevitable. This document is about stopping a genocide and exposing those who are obstructing that effort — wittingly or not. That is not a partisan position. It is a moral one, based on 16 years on the ground in Nigeria.
THE TINUBU PIVOT TO CHINA — AND WHY WE CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE NIGERIA
By Mike Arnold
Tinubu is pulling Nigeria out of America's reach and into China's arms, on purpose, to make our pressure on the genocide irrelevant before it can bite. We are about to lose Africa's anchor state to Beijing and the caliphate at the same time, and the window to stop it is closing by the month.
Their own side said the quiet part out loud. The day after our Christmas strike on Sokoto, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, one of the north's most influential clerics, called it a "neo-Crusade war against Islam," told Abuja to cut military ties with the United States, and named the replacements: China, Turkey, and Pakistan. Those powers are already moving in.
The scale is not theoretical. In 2025, Chinese construction commitments to Nigeria hit $24.6 billion — up from $1.8 billion the year before, a thirteenfold jump, and the largest of any country on earth. In September 2024 Beijing raised Nigeria to its highest partnership tier, the one it reserves for Russia and Pakistan. Nigeria is bidding for BRICS with Chinese backing. It renewed its currency swap with Beijing and asked to expand it. Its banks now settle directly in yuan, off the dollar rails. This is the largest foreign-policy realignment in Nigeria's history, and it is moving fast.
This is why sanctions alone will fail. They run on the dollar; the currency swap and yuan settlement route around it. They bite a government with no other banker; China is now the banker. The pivot is a shock absorber — built so that whatever Washington restricts, Beijing replaces. We have to stop assuming financial pressure on Abuja still works the way it did five years ago.
And the regime we are pressuring is not just dodging us — it is paying the killers. Chinese miners pay "rent" to the Fulani militias to work the land the massacres clear. The National Security Adviser's own office has armed those militias. The minerals flow to China, the protection money flows to the killers and their institutional backers, and the cleared ground becomes the next mine. Chinese capital now bankrolls the political class that runs the whole machine.
This is not a country we can write off. Nigeria is Africa's largest economy and largest oil producer, and it is on track to be the third most populous nation on earth by 2050 — one of the decisive states of the century. We cannot afford to let it be hijacked by China and radical Islam at the same moment. That is not a regional setback. It reshapes the global board.
The answer is not to out-bid Beijing or to keep firing sanctions that miss. It is not to keep propping up a corrupt regime under a constitution designed to keep the people under control of the Caliphate. It is to break the stranglehold itself.
Investigate the Sokoto Caliphate network for terrorist designation and confront the source of the violence directly.
>> Force out the truth the regime is hiding with a U.S.-backed census of the millions of denied displaced, which builds the genocide case and unlocks international aid being withheld.
>> Continue to target the jihadis — and widen the scope to include the Fulani militia known to be the most prolific killers. Wipe them out without mercy.
>> Cut the propaganda line by barring lobbying on behalf of any Country of Particular Concern.
>> And guarantee a free, honest 2027 election with a constitutional referendum — not merely observe it — so the Nigerian people can take their own country back.
Free the people from the stranglehold and help them rise, and China loses the chaos it feeds on. That is how we keep Nigeria — and earn a true, lasting ally in an increasingly dangerous part of the world.

While insecurity persists, @officialnyscng should suspend its program nationwide. This is not an issue of suspending activities in northern parts.
If NYSC wants to continue activities, it should provide guarantees, insurance, or bond.
