@SonySantaMonica I don't mind a new game, but a different studio should handle the side stories (similar to the PSP). That way, you guys could focus entirely on Kratos's main timeline. Especially now, that games take 5 to 6 years to develop, we might not see the next main entry for another decade
@PlayStation how about create a "basic plan" that let you just play online for $40 a year. The last time I had to renew the PS+ I feel like being robbed. I might switch to PC for online play.
@EHuanglu Is not ready for real productions... the quality is really low... It looks good in social media but not in a 4K monitor. It looses micro details and has issues when you send the files for Quality check. They get flaged as not proper 16-bit files.
Hybrid workflow. Mixed: AI generation paired with traditional VFX staples like set extensions and object removals.
I threw in some 3D for the spatula. I used free AI models, because to generate stuff, it is to much trial an error

@OlivioSarikas it is a lot of trial an error and wasted money on credits. I feel I cannot get exactly what I have in my head. it is hard to control if you have client giving directions.
@TheMG3D For now you it cannot be used for a real movie. QC (quality check) will flag all the issues. AI video generated footage is 8-bit. To deliver a DCP for a movie theatre is 12-bits. So, technicaly is not usable for proper profesional pipelines or HDR.
@arceyul I feel you still need an artistic eye. I have seen AI stuff that needs to be repaired. The problem is people creating the AI footage are not able to see, becasue they have never worked in a proper pipeline enviorement or don't have the eye to see what the AI did wrong.
@TheMG3D To create that. They needed the 2D version. If not, there is varely any control over the output. Besides of an IN and OUT image + a prompt that might change from one version to another if you slightly modify it. AI is not ready. if you have a client that wants small changes.
@GeorgeCrudo Now you can use a playblast from a 3D software and use AI to render the scene. In that case you have full control over objects in the scene and camera movement. In that way you can bypass UVs and render time.
@andrewpprice This is a big discussion. Personally I don't like AI, but I use it at work to get stuff done faster. Especially working as a solo VFX artist. It seems the industry is going that way. We like it or not. Clients don't care about the process but they care about the final result.
@TheMG3D Where I live there is new "AI film company". So, that means people is paying for slop. Also, I have playing with it, but I feel is not ready for real productions just yet. There issues with color depth and compressions artifacts. AI is trained on 8bit images for VFX we need 16bit
