@mommylieb @educator4ever36 This is the straw man concern that has destroyed school discipline. Everything is now excused bcuz it’s assumed that high standards will lead to child abuse at home. Yet schools can leverage their position as mandatory reporters to thwart such a response.

@educator4ever36 I think all parents should be required to view training modules on child behavior & school discipline at the start of the school yr. If their kid gets in trouble, they get more modules. After the second incident, they have to attend a 3hr Saturday seminar.

@itdoesdoes7 @JenniferSey Maybe you should participate in one of these sports & see what it feels like. I guarantee that you girls will leave sports where men are allowed to compete. Also, its demoralizing & they cannot perform their best in front of scouts when they can only take second place.

@jenteach13 @postlogix Thank you for saying this. I also noticed textbooks are changed every three years and all they do is rearrange the content. Now with online textbooks, publishers can force schools to buy these updates or they shut off access to the material.

@ronrule It often had only three bedrooms and one bathroom. No garage buy a carport instead. It likely didn’t have a dishwasher or washer/dryer. It wasn’t unusual for kids to share a rooms.
