Weird. My daughter was reaching for cups at 6 months and eating on her own with her fingers. Spoon took a little while longer to master. We kept an oilskin tablecloth under her chair to handle the spills. Are the parents uptight about the mess, or over-anxious about choking hazards?

In other words, it is the responsibility of all free-thinking people who love liberty to remind everyone that:

1. Taiwan is a great nation of successful people.

2. Democracy and human rights are more important than cheap crap made by communist slave labor.

3. China's political system is an autocratic and corrupt communist hell hole.

4. China's development rights do not extend beyond its own reasonable orders.

China is a "national security" threat to all free people, and is a bastion of "forced labor" as national policy.

@Distracted_Nrd Do you use DE? We sprinkled that over bedding (great for fly control, too) and into feed. Significantly cut down parasites.

My husband can carry the body of a child out of a house after a fire, come home and have a drink and be fine. But he absolutely could not bear to even give our goats shots. I had to do all the vetting. He was a great coach when I had to go elbow-deep in a doe to turn a kid though.

A writing spider! They're wonderful. We had one when I was a kid that had an enormous web positioned over our trashcans - no fly problem once she moved in. We named her Charlotte. Just like in the book, she died but her babies hatched and drifted away in the wind. One stayed behind to spin a new web.
