There is precedent for refusing to seat and expulsion from Congress and the Sentate for this issue.

I can empathize. I lost both parents and a sister in an 18 month span. It's difficult to recover when the hits keep coming. Give yourself permission to step back and allow yourself to process the grief. Do the ugly cry, sleep for a few days, change your surroundings and treat yourself. After a while, dust yourself off and focus on healing yourself one step at a time. You can do this. I'm still struggling a bit, but it does get better with time.
