Reading a lot here about how we help college athletes. The conversation is great, and providing more resources for these athletes is a great step.
But we’re missing the forest for the trees.
The problem isn’t resources. The problem is the system.
since we're talking about wharton I would like to share some of my experiences there as a low-income undergrad. so at penn, there are more students in the top 0.1% income bracket than in the bottom 20%. only about 3% of the student body are from the bottom 20%— I was one of them
