6 weeks after my injury, I'm still not dancing, but it feels like I'm doing the chacha: 2 steps foward, 1 step back. PT says I might be able to resume ballet training 1st week of July. Training my patience...
Exactly 1 month since my leg injury (wear & tear x3). Graduated from the crutches to a cane. Still a lot of work to do. This weekend, the goal will be to go up and down the stairs normally (but at a turtle pace). I miss dancing....
Things on my mind these days:
I wish I could, but I can't.
I wish I could dance, but I can't.
I wish I could dance in our June shows, but I won't be able to. This leg injury will keep me out of the studio for a minimum of 8 weeks.
...a lot of I wish I could, but I can't...
Wonderful surprise party w/family members, my friends from the studio & from the old run club, even my high school BFF was there (& she now lives 7 hours away!!). I'm beyond grateful for the birthday wishes & love. (other pics taken by friends to come)

And before us was the dream of spring.
It is always safe to dream of #spring.
For it is sure to come; and if it be not
just as we have pictured it,
it will be infinitely sweeter.
