Most sunscreen chemicals are petrochemical-derived — some are endocrine disruptors, says twig bio CTO Satnam Surae. That's the opening for Mycolux, a fermented alternative launching later this year. Full interview on The Infinite Loop.

It works in the lab. But can it produce 100,000 liters at a time? twig bio built a foundation model to design molecules that replace petrochemicals, including a fermented sunscreen alternative launching later this year. Full interview on The Infinite Loop.

twig's mantra: fail fast, keep the data. CTO Satnam Surae says even failed experiments feed the AI models designing their fermented alternative to sunscreen chemicals. Full interview on The Infinite Loop.

Only one industry became less productive over the last 50 years: construction. Startups like @buildots and All3 are reversing the trend. @rshishkov at All3 says their automated building solution "looks pretty much like Starship Troopers". Read @timmpsmith's piece on our website.

The @AnywhereRobots warehouse robot kept stalling at its first customer. The fix: engineers moved in and slept on the floor. Months of debugging later, deployment time is down to days, and the customer asked for more robots. Read the latest First Customer story on our website.

Some industrial jobs are so harsh that the younger generation of workers doesn’t want to do them, says @AnywhereRobots CEO Thomas Tang. His company is out to solve the labor shortage with Pixmo, a non-humanoid robot for industrial tasks. Full piece on our website.

The mission was personal for @lauravelh. After losing three loved ones in six weeks due to late diagnoses, she set out to transform rural healthcare and prevent patients from being overlooked. Interview with the co-founder of @arkangel_ai on The Infinite Loop.

“In the early stages, you've got to be a hope camel.” Not your typical founder advice from @ShivdevRao at @AbridgeHQ, valued at $5.3B. Rao had a YOLO moment closing the first deal for his AI healthcare platform. More on The Infinite Loop website.

Your doctor might finally stop typing while you talk. Ambient AI scribes from @AbridgeHQ, @WellSkyHealth and other startups help clinicians focus on patients instead of paperwork. The relationship with healthcare providers and patients? It's complicated. Full piece by @SageLazzaro on our website.

Can AI solve healthcare access in rural parts of Latin America? @arkangel_ai is making it work, even on the worst phones without internet. The Infinite Loop sat down with co-founder @lauravelh to find out how rural healthcare is changing. Full interview on our website.

“You're doing it wrong.” @Koukoumidis ignored industry experts and built Oumi's open-source AI platform on conviction. Validation came when they closed a deal with a top-10 global bank. @SageLazzaro has the story on The Infinite Loop.

What made a global bank, an English learning app, and a translation company decide to build their own models rather than buy AI? Insights on DIY AI from @DeepLcom, @Loora_AI, @Koukoumidis and @nickpatience in @SageLazzaro’s piece on The Infinite Loop — check it out and subscribe.

Fermented sunscreen sounds like a wellness trend. It's actually bioengineering. twig bio is using microbes to replace petrochemicals in personal care products — and a foundation model called Canopy to design the strains. Full interview with CTO Satnam Surae on The Infinite Loop

An investor told her, “You are nothing.” It didn’t stop @lauravelh from building a healthcare app, even without a background in AI or medicine. Her first customer was ready before she was. Interview with the co-founder of @arkangel_ai on The Infinite Loop.

Nobody puts "pedestrians who think your robot is broken" in the training dataset. Delivery robots from @Avrideai and @CocoRobotics are learning from one city at a time. For Avride, it’s also bonus data for self-driving cars.

If only every AI founder got such blunt advice from their customers.
@VitVioAI took a surgeon’s joke and made it the motto of their AI platform for hospital operating rooms. Interview with founder Thomas Knox and chief scientist @jacenkow at the Nebius AI Discovery Awards:

[The Infinite Loop @RunInfiniteLoop]

The first product @CocoRobotics built was awful, but they launched anyway. @Avrideai’s robot ran obstacle courses for Uber Eats to get everything right before deploying. Both teams share lessons learned in The Infinite Loop’s latest First Customer story by @BerryWrites.

Every surgery now has a replay button. @VitVioAI’s 3D computer vision cameras and sensors take over the operating room, recording every step. Founder Thomas Knox spoke with The Infinite Loop on why technology has to deliver more than hospital ROI — it has to make staff happier.
